I know, I know; I put up another piece of my movie. But this is supposed to be for my PAID friends ONLY. I’m not sending this out to my regular subscribers, it’s just the 8 of you reading this….I don’t know if it worked though. According to my stats, no one got this. So I might have to do this all over again.
If you want to read this, SUBSCRIBE. It’s pretty cheap, considering: $5…you can pay by the month, or you can pay once, and then cancel the account and go back to FREE. Of course I’d like it if you stuck around. Why would I want you to leave? There will come a time when this page will go PAID. But that’s not until I have 1000 subscribers. That doesn’t mean there won’t be anything left. I’m always going to write new stories. NO SIMPLE REMEDY is a new story. I put it up on SHORT STORIES AFTER 8. Those stories, put up every Sunday, will ALWAYS be free. The SERIAL NOVELS — and there will be more than one — will go behind the PAYWALL.
I have to do this for the simple reason that I can’t afford not to. I’m retired now, and my income had been cut in half, or more. I don’t mind it. I certainly enjoy not working for a living.. I think it’s because, at heart , I’m lazy. But I do like to write. I’m also thinking that I will continue reading my stories. I actually enjoy doing it now. But more than that, I love coming up with story ideas. They will always be long…ish. I think that’s because I like to layer things. I started working on another story. It takes place in Berlin. But I want to tell it in three (3) different timelines. It’s a challenge, and takes me out of my comfort zone. It’s the story of a gay man in Berlin, from 1935 to 1956. Three different timelines, and three different events. I don’t know if it’s going to work, but I have a couple of months to work on it.
I don’t want to cut one part of the page off for the other, but if you’re on the PAID page, you’ll get it all.
