I have to admit that I’m pleasantly surprised to know that I have people who come to listen to me read…poetry. And Romantic poetry, at that. I also want you to know that I enjoy my readings now. I was, once upon a time, reluctant to read anything out, because I used to screw it up so much. But, time has gotten the better of me, and here we are. At least, I think I’m getting better at it. Not great, but better.
I try to get these out at a reasonable time, as well. Living out here on the Left Coast where time is a little more laid back, I have to remember that those out on the East Coast are three hours ahead of us. But really, do I care? Nah. It’s a global enterprise now, isn’t it?
I didn’t read any of my own poetry tonight because I was talking about my eBook, TRILOGY I: The Bridges of Rome. It’s the first in m y series. I’ll be putting another one out close to Christmas. Now, just so you know, my eBooks will always be $7.99. I will be having a sale and dropping the price down to probably $2.99, but only for about a week.
And why so much, you ask? It’s not. It’s still a book. You have to remember, it’s Amazon who came up with the .99¢ book. I’m of the opinion that if you sell a book for .99¢, you’re only hurting yourself. Why sell yourself short?
