An update...of sorts.

Hear ye! Hear ye! A Scribbler announcement!

We just got back in from Mexico where we spent an enjoyable 10 days visiting our friend, and fellow Subscriber (PAID I might add), whose name will remain anonymous. The weather was amazing. I guess anytime you leave your hometown and it’s full of snow, and when you come back to find it all gone, you’ve had a good time. I didn’t have access to this page while I was gone because I don’t have a phone, or an iPad, or Tablet. I just have this thing, and I like it like that. I’ve got a lot to catch up on, and some changes I want to make, so let’s get going.

I plan to put up my PAID page up again in about 2-3 weeks. EVERYTHING I have on my page will eventually go up behind the PAYWALL. I’m going to rearrange my ARCHIVES and put all the sections of the stories I have, together again, back to the single stories they started out as, so I can free up some space. Every 4 months, the stories I have put up, will be archived. If you sign up on the FREE page and want to access the ARCHIVES, it will cost you $5/month. It doesn’t seem like an unreasonable request, not when you remember that I’m retired and now living on a limited income.

After I’ve put my last piece up for the Guide to Time Travel, the PAID page will be going up. My future books will be serialized and go behind the PAYWALL. I’m going to start off with a rewrite of JACK OF DIAMONDS. When it gets archived (The Redux Section), I’m going to delete them. The revised chapters will be ARCHIVED instead. Any READINGS I do—and I plan to read chapters, and even some poems I like—and they will go behind the PAYWALL. My SCRIBBLES, will go behind the paywall.

The ONLY thing that will be FREE, are my long short stories. They will go up every SUNDAY…I’m hoping around eight, or maybe AFTER 8? Hey…that sounds familiar. Maybe I’ll call it: AFTER 8 BEDTIME STORIES? I like the sound of that even more. Sundays will be my short stories. I just finished my first story since I started my page last year in June. I feel good about the story. The stories will be available four months before they are archived. That’ll give me enough time to write another story, so that the stories on Sunday will continue and I’ll have stories I can collect and possibly make into a POD (Print On Demand book). With each story approximately 12,000-18,000 words (35-60 pages) the books will probably be 400’ish pages. That could be 7-8 stories/book. But I have to have PAID subscribers in order to print them up. Because I will offer to Print them, box them, and mail them out once I have 200 PAID subscribers. $5/month will get you a Free book once I reach 200.

The PAYWALL chapters will go up on Wednesdays. On Monday and Tuesday; Thursday and Friday, I will be putting up my SCRIBBLER pages, my readings, my musings about life, and anything else that strikes my fancy. I might put up video readings.

That’s about all I have for now. It doesn’t matter how long it takes to get the 200 PAID subscribers, because the THREE I have right now, are all my friends. I’ve READ to them all, been out for lunches, dinners, and drinks at different times in my life, with them.
