This isn’t a reminder…

It’s me telling you that Wednesday is now behind the Paywall. I will be putting my SERIALs up once a week again. I will be going back to TWICE weekly. SUNDAY’S SHORT STORIES AFTER 8 will continue to be FREE. It is my plan that they will ALWAYS be FREE.

My SHORT STORIES are my main focus…

It has always been my idea that my “short stories,” (they’re actually Novellas and Novelettes—a little longer than short stories which top out at 7,000 words.) My next story coming in after THE DAWN PATROL, is sitting at 14,600 words. I haven’t worked on it while; I was getting my SERIAL novel JACK OF DIAMONDS ready. At the moment, the story is tentatively called WE ARE GOLDEN. It takes place on three different timelines, starting in Berlin in 1938, and ending in Paris, 1956. It’s different from anything else I’ve written, which is what I’m supposed to be doing, right? I have to step out of my comfort zone and see where I stand as a writer.

As for my SERIALS…

I’ll be bringing back THE SHIELD OF LOCKSLEY sometime later. JACK OF DIAMONDS was originally put up when I only had 30 subscribers. Sure, it has sex, but what do you expect? The man’s a cad and a womanizer, remember? It’s an action-packed story that takes place in 1923 London.

I’d like it if some of you on my FREE Sunday night Stories would up-Grade to the PAID page. I’m probably going to leave it at $30/year from now on. A few people have contacted me and explained they can’t afford anything because they are on limited incomes. I totally understand. I am as well! I’m retired. If you find yourself in that position, reach out and tell me. I’ll comp you.

At the moment, I have 12 PAID Subscribers. It would be nice to grow this part of my page in the New Year. The more PAID SUBSCRIBERS I can get, the sooner I can GIVE BACK to my readers.
