SWORDS AND SORCERY SATURDAYS
I always forget what the title of the Saturday fantasy release is, so I just make a name up and hope for the best...
I’m only putting up chapters of my serial that have been published before...
Today, I’m putting up the Table of Contents. I took out the page numbers because as I edit, they keep changing. I’ll go back when I’m finished with my edits and fill in the blanks. In the meantime, I’ve brought a few more readers on board and I’d like to welcome you and show you what we have to read in the PAYWALLED section of my Substack.
First of all, it’s cheap. I mean, $30 Canadian for the year? That’s cheap. I can’t go any cheaper. Or you can go $10/month? But this is what I have to offer PAID subscribers. The book itself is complete. I’m going through it, doing edits. I’m going to send it out looking for an agent, and then looking for a publisher, before resorting to my own funds and publishing it myself.
But I can’t really do that without your help.
I’ve gone up and down with my numbers — lost a few PAID subscribers, and then gained another — but in general, I’m bringing in a whopping $50/month. I had to spend some of that money to publish my novel THE BASHFUL COURTESAN.
So this is the serial in its entirety.
I designed the shield myself and made it with Ai. I know, a lot of you don’t agree with using Ai, but I don’t care. I wanted to be an artist/animator when I was a kid, and used to draw stuff like that when I was much younger. But like everything else, if you don’t use it, you lose it. I approach Ai as a tool. I don’t use it for practical purposes. A lot that I’ve come up with I don’t use with my story. I borrow my pictures from Pinterest. I do like that picture though. However, I will have to make improvements on it by making the so-called “Celtic” Knots behind the dragon, into proper Celtic Knots…or maybe make them into roses.
Anyway, take a look at the Table of Contents, and if the story looks interesting, upgrade. An added feature to my PAID page will be my live link connections. I don’t have a lot of PAID subscribers at the moment (36) and I’m hoping going live just for them is going to work out. My first one, my “official” first one was a blast. I talked endlessly. (Kinda reminded me of my drug days way long ago…)

Should I call you Homer?
You should write about a son . That you shunned because of a different opinion.
