What I’m about to say right now isn’t a matter of hindsight, but fact. I like to keep the things in my head straight whenever I can; call it a linear narration, if you will. If I can’t keep things straight, that’s when I make things up. I believe hindsight’s when you look at something after it’s happened, and you tell yourself: “Well, I could’ve done that differently, couldn’t I?” Or maybe, “I shouldn’t have done anything about it, I should’ve just left well-enough alone.” It’s all about second guessing yourself, which makes me something of an expert, having done that, or something like that, for most of my life.
