PART FIVE
LOCKSLEY’S QUEST
I’m telling you right now, this is paywalled.
I hate don’t like it when I start reading something only to find out later that it’s paywalled. But I just want to warn you that I’m going to start paywalling a lot of things around here now. In fact, the only thing that will not be paywalled, will be my STORIES, AFTER EIGHT. They will always be FREE.
Everything else will be $30 for the year, (8¢ a day) or else $10 for the month.
I don’t do this lightly. I sent out 168 emails today, for those readers to whom I gave a complimentary PAID subscription, reminding them that pretty soon that deal will be coming to a close. I’m not forcing my readers to convert. If they don’t convert all it means is that they will no longer have access to this story; my new POET’S CORNER; the video that accompanies my STORIES, AFTER EIGHT, and whatever other video I might be putting up in the future.
It is my hope — and I just thought of this a couple of days ago — but my nephew’s son will be out of school for his summer vacation soon, and I thought (at the wife’s suggestion that I sit around and keep an eye on him,) but I thought, maybe we could go downtown together and make a new video program for my BTC-TV Channel 13. I was thinking we could do a travelogue through Vancouver…with him as the tour guide. He doesn’t know this yet, because I just came up with the idea last weekend.
