Let me explain something to you before you unsubscribe.

The whole idea of getting PAID readers in the first place, was that I wanted to print up one of my stories and mail it out to my readers. I thought it would be a cool memento to give out. Small, novella-sized books of about 80-100 pages. I’d worked it out to being something like 70 paid readers. But, well, since that time I’ve dropped the price from the original Substack price of $50/year, down to the lowest they allow. $30/year. I had an idea that I would do POD books and mail them out to my paying readers. All you had to do was send me a Self-Addressed postcard, (that means you put your return address on it), and I’d send you a copy of my story. I believe the first one was going to be THE BASHFUL COURTESAN. But…nobody signed up. The whole idea was to hopefully print up 3 books during the course of a year, but that ain’t happening either.

So, don’t unsubscribe because you thought THE SHIELD OF LOCKSLEY was FREE again. Instead, up-grade and help me print up a book for you, and then another, and another: THE BASHFUL COURTESAN; THE DAWN PATROL; THE TRUTH OF WHO WE ARE; THE EVIL THAT MEN DO; NO SIMPLE REMEDY; THE BOXER’S LAMENT. These are all novella-sized stories just waiting to be printed up for you. And when this is done? How big do you think this story will be? It’s already 180,000 words…so we’re looking at a book of about 700-750 pages!
