Throwback Thursday

IN DAYS OF VAST DARING.

I wrote this story a long time ago. I can’t remember exactly when it was. I’d have to go sorting through my files to figure that out. But when I came here I was still trying to sort things out. I put this out in June of 2022. I hadn’t even been here a month. I put it up before I started my story THE SHIELD OF LOCKSLEY. It’s kind of what I would call a prequel/sequel, because it was the story I first used Sir Grummer’s character.

After I wrote this story, I stumbled across the NOTEBOOK that had my Table of Contents, handwritten, as well as about 50-60 pages, also handwritten, from before I even had a typewriter…which means I was still in high school when I fist thought about Locksley. Well, fast forward about forty years, and you get this story. Grummer is a survivor of the War (spoiler alert!) So I can’t tell you much more about the story, other than that.

If I were to write this story today, I would have Grummer wearing Locksley’s old armour…
