This is THROWBACK THURSDAY, and I’m about to put up my LAST post for my SUBSCRIBERS, (in this particular event), because I feel I’m putting up too many posts at the moment. Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday, seems a bit much. So I’m scaling it back a little, and going back to my two posts a week. I’ll probably put links up on NOTES, as I have a lot of Followers who haven’t seen any of my older work, and that’s the only way they’ll get a chance to see them.
My daughter of all people, said she had to unsubscribe because I was sending too much to her inbox, and she’s taking a night-school course and didn’t have enough time, or space, to read everything. I don’t think she’s the only one. I still have a presence on NOTES, but I’d rather be writing more than scrolling through. I mean that’s what I’m here for.
After I post what is ultimately the first chapter for FREEDOM HOUSE, I’m pulling the plug on it. It’s a stand alone chapter so there’s no damage done, and I’m going to work on something I started a long time ago called: CINDERELLA AND HER SISTERS. It’s a pre-World War One story that takes place in Vienna. It’s supposed to be the first in a series of stories I call TALES OF THE VIENNA WOODS.
But this is my Throwback Thursday story, which is also the first stop I posted here. It takes place during the Mau Mau uprising back in the 50’s, in Kenya. It’s a love story. (Spoiler alert! It’s a Tragedy.)
I love your candid honesty, like your daughter's comment about too many emails (same for me). Once I asked someone who stopped "Liking" my posts, sometimes on controversial issues, if I had offended her. She said, "No, I have your blog link." Hopefully people will save your blog link on their desktop and check it frequently.
