Yes, I heard that as well. I listened for a bit. It wasn’t like that when I recorded it, so maybe I’ll just have to cut the music off, and thanks for listening.
I don’t know. I don’t mean that. I mean, I won’t put the music in anymore. And you can hear me reading something every Sunday. I have a piece of my ‘Stack I call STORIES, AFTER EIGHT. I release it in the a.m., and live on The Left Coast, so if you’re in the States, and you live in California, it’s right there in the morning and just in time for breakfast. But we’re pretty well global here, so it doesn’t make that much difference. All you need to know is Sundays. If you’re subscribed, you can go into my archives and listen to other pieces I’ve read, and you’ll get an email telling you when it’s out. As for my PAID section, that’s for my serial novels. The one I’m putting out has the first 14 chapters for free, after that…paywalled. I hope you subscribe, because the readings will always be on my FREE page. That’s a promise I made to myself. And if you like King Arthur, maybe you’ll read the first 14 chapters of my serial? Going paid is only $30 (Can) for the year…and you have complete access to the archives.
Oh my! I absolutely would love to hear your stories. I’m very happy that I stumbled upon them as I fell down yet another rabbit hole.
I don’t quite know how I got here but at least I can listen to your stories as I wind my way back to our fearsome new reality.
And I do appreciate you saying that you won’t put the music in anymore. Your voice is lyrical enough.
I am a Canadian as well, but am on the other side of the country, and actually quite remotely in the country, about 12 minutes North of Lake Erie in an 1871 stone schoolhouse in Villa Nova. ( but that is a rabbit hole for another day!) Suffice it to say that I am far too close to an unprotected border, and my home a part of the original Underground Railroad.
It was lovely of you to respond and I very much appreciated it.
I think only about four of them. Most of them don’t have all the other stuff, the clapping and the globe. It’s from before I realized I could do all of that. I just do a cold reading, stumble through sometimes, but somehow manage. People are willing to overlook the mistakes and boo-boos.
I love to hear you read but strain to hear your words over the very loud instrumental music.

Is removing the music track something that you can do easily? What I’m really asking is, when can I listen to you read again.

In this day and age it is the boo boos that are the Crown Jewels of realism proving that you are you not ChatGPT or bot generated material.

Cheers to more stories!
I live just outside of Vancouver, in a townhouse. I have a vast selection of stories to choose from. So come on in!
I shall thank you. Do they all have music in the foreground?
