Should we change days?
A poll for everyone. Pretty simple: one question, four choices. Feel free to leave a comment...or crickets. 🦗 I'm used to crickets. Just don't... "not" vote.
This weekend I woke up after a night of mild imbibing, and…well, being retired, I sometimes forget trivial things, like what day of the week it is. It probably has something to do with how I spent my Friday getting my video recorded and up-loaded, ready, posted, the auto-post set to Sunday.
But I woke up after nine when I’m usually up by six, and when I looked at my page, I noticed that the video I’d worked on last night wasn’t out. I found it odd considering I had it scheduled for 8:00 am. It said it had an issue with a drawer being open or some stupid shit like that.
It couldn’t be posted as it was, so I fixed it…
And posted it, thinking it was Sunday.
As it is right now I don’t care much about “time;” all my time now is free time. I know, it sucks, but sometimes you have to take one for the team. And so, even with having just the one thing to do, I managed to drop the ball.
But summer’s coming up and the wife’s wanting to get the planting done.
It’s spring in Vancouver.
Which leads me to the question: Saturday, or Sunday?
I’m not the one that has a regimented life. You are. If it works out better for you to listen to me while doing chores on a Saturday, I can dig get that. (I thought that kind of aged me: I guess it does just thinking that...)
I’m going to leave Sunday open then, or else the Saturday, for a while at least, until I can come up with some tidbits of information. And if I do post again it will only be through a Membership in The Portal Club.
Our First Order of business will be a secret handshake. Feel free to send me examples.
And please? 🙏🙏 Please, if you hate doing polls, at least hit number 3 one. Just don’t not vote. It really sucks when you count the talley and it’s only seven people.
Hey, no pressure though, right?
I am not sure the posting day matters, Ben We read your fine stories as soon as we find time to sit down a few minutes, and it is not always the day they arrive. The delay doesn't mean we are not interested, just that our lives are so full!
I say do what's good for you. The beauty of writing (and recording) is that it lets your audience enjoy your work at their leisure rather than on a schedule.
