I guess you must surrender to the fact that today might be your last, in order to not go insane. Anytime I have spent an evening with Brits of a certain age, the topic of conversation aways somehow turns very quickly to the devastation and losses they experienced in WWll. It changed their lives forever.
Thoroughly engaging story Ben. The many layers of personalities, relationships, hardships, devastation, fear and bravery all combine to create a very realistic portrayal of the era. The dialog is superb.
