Don't give up on this just yet! I'm going to try and see if I can garner any interest on my PAID page by putting up a story I was working on when I had the accident at work. It got kind of lost in the shuffle during that time and one of the PAID subscribers told me he liked the story and wanted me to keep writing it. So I dropped the price of my subscriptions down to $30/year. I'll start Locksley up again in the New Year, but I want to do it bi-weekly, with my new JACK OF DIAMONDS paid piece alternating.
In the meantime, I can still work on my SHORT STORIES AFTER 8, which I think I'll read out, because now I'm actually enjoying the reading part. People don't care if I stumble over a word here or there. Besides, if it's real bad, I just start over again. I'm working hard on my newest story WE ARE GOLDEN which takes place on three different timelines. I've already got close to 14,000 words. I don't know how long it's going to be, because to be quite honest, I don't even look at the word count anymore. I just work on my stories until they feel finished.
I hope you'll take a dive into my paid page. My hero is more of an anti-hero. He's a liar, and a thief; a womanizer, and a cheat. He's a war vet who suffers from trauma; the youngest son of an impoverished Baron, who does "buildering." (Those are those crazy-assed guys that climb up the outside of buildings without any aid.) It's a wild ride!
