How beautiful. The co-creation. The words. The song. All of it.

Thank you. He's the one that gets all the credit. He told me to write because of the trauma I was going through at the time. He really is a special kind of friend.

Aye Ben, very beautiful collaboration you have going here. Earlier this year I learnt of the death of a friend I'd known when logging years ago. I wrote a story, The Bushmans Dream, about those times. Now in these times I open the latest instalment of A Beginners Guide To Time Travel.

Losing a friend may possibly be harder than losing some family members. Some families grow apart, but the friends we choose, grow closer over the years. Losing my friend, and the way in which it happened (because I was so directly involved) was probably the most difficult thing I've ever been through in my life. And the fact that it happened so late in our work careers (we would've probably been retiring together) makes it even harder. I'm grateful that Dr. Dave told me I should write it out as a song, and even more grateful that he was able to do what he did with it. (And I'm happy to see you're reading the Time Traveller's Guide.)

That's Dr. Dave. He does all the heavy lifting, like I said. I just gave him the words.

I wish I could take more credit for it, but all I did was write the words. Dr. DAVE gets all the credit. But SHARE it if you can, because he deserves it!
