Well, howdy Pilgrim! Long time, no see! And thank you for that. I just at this moment finished my reading for Sunday's STORIES, AFTER EIGHT. It's going up on my Book Tube Channel if you want to take an early look at it.
The cooking class was actually a lot of fun. At first, we thought it was a little sketchy. It was in the woman's apartment. Even the cab driver was reluctant to let us go. He insisted we call the number, and then he talked to them, and wouldn't let us go in until he was satisfied it was on the level. We got inside and there was another couple who were there making a bolognese sauce. (The wife was a little skeptical about that considering it usually takes her 6-7 hours to make it from scratch.) But it all worked out in the end. I may have to do a write up on our trip and put it in my Scribbles on my 'Stack.
It was three different types of pasta. The whole point was making the pasta from scratch. 1 egg to 100 grams of flour, per person. The last dish was mixed with the bolognese sauce the previous couple made. It was so good. The best part was this couple brought their 21 year old daughter and she sat in front of me...in control of the wine! I was in heaven, because I drink like a fish, and she just kept pouring it.
I have a feeling I may learn a lot from this story. Thank you, Ben. Excellent work.
These are absolutely brilliant Ben! The reading, the story and the characters.

Howdy! How is the wife after the adventures? How was the Italian cooking class? I’m binge listening!

Sounds fun! What a dedicated cabbie! What food did you end up cooking?

I bet!!! Anything tastes good after that much wine! Sommelier and cooking!
