I was captured by the setting. I could smell the make up and the sweat. A perfect truncated ending, no denouement , no explanation, no final thoughts. And perfect as a single stand-alone story.

Oh, but you know it isn't! It's 30,000 words! It's layered, and takes place on three different time-lines, and two different cities.
Yeah, I know. I need a few more hours in my day! I can't keep up with everybody... It's going to be great, I know that.
