You're too kind with your praise, and eh I don't mind if you're not. I'd like to convert you, but it's from a pov of someone who admires and appreciates you Ben. But in my view it must be your choice.
That stuff aside, most importantly to me is that you're going to be tackling a Biblical Epic! Honestly seeing such a story filled with swashbuckling, adventure and such would be cool. I must admit I don't like preaching in movies or stories about the Bible (dunno if that makes sense, given my preachy post). It's why I think I only like three movies on the topic and am pleased with you writing such a story, as I don't think you'll be doing that.
I only mention these things as no story should ever be a sermon, and yours are akin to an English Dumas.
What most astounds me these days is this; we have so many great Canadian authors and artists hereon Substack these days, from you to David Perlmutte, to Ulysses among others. It's really inspiring stuff.
You're so kind. It won't be a swashbuckling story, but it will be multi-layered, that's for certain. From Rome to Parthia, Judaea, and everywhere in between. I do like the story and where it goes. With Luke, Paul and Peter, and the beginning of the Christian church, it's going to have a lot of controversy as well...things I discovered, and theories others have cited. Should be a corker!
About 160. People say they like it and want to sign up, but still don’t. That’s why I loved writing it, the group is small and intimate. I published the COURTESAN because I could wait any longer.

Interesting, I’m pretty traditional with my views of how things went after researching it.
But this could still prove interesting but good luck. As to kindness dunno if I am but try to be.
Hmm, how many paid subscribers do we need to get a peek at this epic?
200.
But I know you have at least one paid subscriber. So 200 more or 199?
